Leena Vincenz-Gavin

Leena Vincenz-Gavin has been dancing since the age of 5. Her training is mainly Ballet and Jazz. She started her Ballet training at Eliziya’s Ballet Schule in Germany. Then she attended the Ca Mar Dance School in Bloomingdale, IL for Ballet, Pointe, and Tap being a part of the Old Town Ballet Company.

She spent one year in South Korea taking classes at the Universal Ballet Company. She was also part of the Streamwood High School Sabrettes Pom Squad who won first place at State in 2005. Leena is currently a Senior at North Central College majoring in Elementary Education, minoring in Dance and German. She is also part of the Cardinal Dance Company at school. Her most cherished accomplishment is the 3 different dance groups she founded in September 2008 at the Chicago Family Church.

Leena especially enjoys choreographing, teaching, and performing dance: “I just love being able to express myself through movement.” She is very excited to be a new member of the Rising Star Dance Sport teaching team.
